ELITE SWIMMING TRAINING GROUPS

NATIONAL |
13 & Up | Swimmers in
this group must have a strong passion and desire to train and compete at
the highest level available to them. While success can never be
guaranteed, the swimmers understand the commitment and discipline that
are necessary to achieve success in swimming.
Swimmers must attend all competitions scheduled by the Head Coach. 95% attendance is expected Sectional and National Levels Practice sets (SCY):

| SENIOR | 13 & Up | Swimmers in this group are
preparing for the National Group. Swimmers and parents will need
to demonstrate understanding of their role in the athletes' ability to
compete at a higher level and achieve higher meet standards.
Swimmers in this group will learn more about seasonal plans, training programs, and the process to aim for big meets. They will continue to progress in technique and skills. Swimmers must attend all competitions scheduled by the Head Coach. 85% attendance is expected Practice sets (SCY): |

| Swimmers will be divided by ability when necessary. | |||
| SENIOR-1 | 14 & Up | For High School Swimmers. Swimmers
in this group must have the ability to practice at the Senior Group
Level. Attendance must be at least 2-3 times per week. |

| GOLD | 9-12 | The goal in this group is to continue to
improve on stoke technique, skills, training habits, and to build a good
foundation for the swimmer's capability of being successful in the
Senior and National Program. The swimmers should be prepared to meet requirements and expectations for this group. It is recommended that the swimmers attend 90% of all practices and participate in all competitions set by the coach. Practice sets (SCY):

| SILVER | 7-12 | Swimmers will learn to recognize and
respond to coaching instruction. They will develop training habits
and improve in all four strokes by learning and performing drills. Swimmers is this group must be able to swim all four strokes efficiently.

| BRONZE | 5 & Up | Swimmers will learn swim all four
strokes legally. They will learn to do turns on all strokes and to
dive from a starting block. Swimmers is this group must be able to swim Freestyle and Backstroke efficiently and have some knowledge of Breaststroke.

| COPPER | 5 & Up | Swimmers will learn to swim Backstroke
and some Breaststroke. They will learn to push off as well as
streamline. Swimmers is this groups must be able to swim Freestyle comfortably.

training groups are not permanent. It may be changed due to growth
and any circumstance that will benefit the club . |
